Julia believes in the boundless power of self healing. She seeks to provide safe sacred spaces where ones own wisdom and intuition can shine. Through an empowering Vinyasa class, a mindful Yin practice, or simply being in the presence of love and laughter Julia strives to guide you to a greater understanding of self.
After her RYT-200 training at Yogalife Seattle in 2011, Julia was inspired to study Sanskrit, Ancient Indian Philosophical Literature, and different modalities of healing at the University of Washington. During her last year of schooling she traveled the world researching the relationship between trauma and integrative healing. This work led to a deep respect of vulnerability in the process of becoming a resilient warrior in the battlefield of life. It also solidified the importance of joy, laughter, and the transformative power of community in the healing journey.
She has additional certifications in Laughter Yoga, Yin Yoga, Reiki, and Mindful Resilience for Trauma Recovery through The Veterans Yoga Project. She currently teaches in the greater Seattle area as well as leads retreats around the world.
