Next Generation Yoga presents Yoga for Teens Teacher Training with Mackenzie Studebaker, E-RYT 500. This inspiring Teacher Training is a 24-hour Yoga Alliance registered certification course that teaches you how to share Yoga with 13-17 yr. olds. Created by Erin Lila Wilson, the Yoga for Teens Teacher Training is open to anyone who has a love for teenagers and a passion for Yoga. No pre-requisites required.
- Structure for developing a Teen Yoga class
- Age-appropriate postures, breathing and meditation techniques
- Yoga in the school setting
- Ethical principles of Yoga in teen language
- At-risk and underserved populations
- Teen relevant topics including anger, forgiveness, self-confidence and sexual health

95-HOUR YOGA SCHOOL
Next Generation Yoga is an approved 95-hour Registered Children’s Yoga School (RCYS) through the Yoga Alliance Organization. Yoga Teachers registered with the Yoga Alliance as an active 200-hour RYT may earn their specialty designation as a Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT) by completing Next Generation Yoga’s 95-hour Teacher Training program.
We offer a flexible format, which allows you to attend one course at a time in a variety of locations. Yoga for Teens Teacher Training is one of the courses that fulfills the 95-hour registry.

ABOUT THE TRAINER
Mackenzie Studebacker, E-RYT 500, is a San Francisco-based yoga and meditation teacher with a particular affinity and skill for working with teens. Her teaching philosophy is grounded in loving-kindness and non-judgment, and adaptive to all ages and abilities. Mackenzie teaches in high schools, juvenile halls, and works with teens with special needs. She works closely with SF-bay area based youth yoga non-profits RISE Yoga for Youth and The Art of Yoga Project. Mackenzie believes that all people (including teens!) deserve access to practices that help them cultivate a more peaceful and inspired relationship with themselves and the world around them.
