Join us for one or all of our summer SUP sessions with Lindsay Lambert of Northwest Paddle Surfers/Paddling Yogini!
This class takes your favorite yoga routines and puts them on the water – at night! Each participant will have underwater Nocqua lights mounted to their stand up paddleboard, illuminating the water and creating a magical glow.
Both yoga and stand up paddle boarding are great for building better balance, coordination, endurance, and body strength. This is an all level class, no SUP or yoga experience required, but you should feel comfortable in open water (be able to tread water).
We begin class on shore to go over the basic fundamentals of SUP; water safety, board anatomy, proper paddle positioning, stroke technique, launching, and progressions to getting up. We will paddle out to anchor the board for class.
*Class will meet at the Fremont studio and walk together to Gasworks Park at 7:45pm. Please arrive on-time.
