These classes take your favorite yoga routines and put them on the water. Both yoga and stand up paddle boarding are great for building better balance, coordination, endurance, and body strength. These are all level classes, no SUP or yoga experience required, but you should feel comfortable in open water (be able to tread water).
We begin class on shore to go over the basic fundamentals of SUP; water safety, board anatomy, proper paddle positioning, stroke technique, launching, and progressions to getting up. We will paddle out to anchor the board for class.
*Class will meet at the Kirkland studio and walk together to Juanita Beach Park at 8:55am. Please arrive on-time.
