Roll ‘n Flow is a combination of Myofascial Release and Vinyasa Yoga. Each class will offer rolling techniques for specific areas of the body that we will then include in our vinyasa practice. Materials not required. *Myofascial release is the rolling out of muscle tissue, to increase the length and strength of that muscle group.
A certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor, Melissa has a great love for the mechanics of the human body. Her yoga journey began in 2006, when a friend gifted her a week pass to a studio in New York. With the right teachers, she fell in love with the new growth and balance she found. However, it was while grieving several personal losses that she discovered her true need for yoga’s healing. Through inquiry, movement and meditation, her love and dedication to yoga deepened.
Melissa taught and practiced yoga for the entirety of her pregnancy, and used her meditation and strength to give birth to a beautiful baby boy in November 2013. Her background in injury prevention, pre and post-natal yoga, and her love of chanting and music, combine to bring a sweetness and safety to her teaching.
