In this series, we will explore meditation theories and offer a variety of basic techniques.  Each class will include an opening discussion with class engagement, a description of the meditation style we’ll practice, a 30-minute guided meditation, and time for questions afterwards.  Each class stands on its own, which means you can miss a class without feeling as though you’ve missed an important segment of the series.  

The class syllabus is as follows:

Week 1: Keys to a Successful Practice, Meditation Theory, Concentration & Breath-Focused Meditation 

Week 2: Loving Kindness Meditation

Week 3: Moving Meditation

Week 4: Chakra Meditation

Week 5: Chanting the Bija Mantras

Week 6: Yoga Nidra

No prior experience necessary.  Everybody is welcome.  Every BODY is welcome.
