Join Julie for a brief interactive discussion followed by a powerful asana practice
intended to facilitate an energetic shift and hopefully a renewed perspective. We
will practice breathing exercises to cleanse the physical and energetic bodies
and a vigorous flow designed to explore and open areas of the body that tend to

Yoga Teacher (200-ERYT, 500RYT)
Julie is a full-time yoga teacher in the San Francisco Bay area. While working in
the corporate world for over 17 years, yoga enabled her to maintain a balance of
health and personal discipline, and it allowed her to find her inner giggle during
stressful challenges. She now shares her personal experience with others,
teaches what she loves and what grounds and nurtures the body.
Julie teaches public, private and corporate Hatha and Vinyasa classes that
develop stability, strength and flexibility. She welcomes and encourages all
students to explore their own boundaries in both the physical and mental practice
and to experience what yoga can offer to them, on and off the mat.
Julie’s teaching and practice deeply influenced by her teachers and her life off
the mat. She has completed over 500 hours of training with Les Leventhal,
Destiny Goldsberry, Sean Haleen, Jane Austin and Harvey Deutch. Her mission
as both a teacher and student is to teach classes that are accessible, safe, and
challenging yet fun to all types of practitioners.
